2020 was the year the world took a breath and travel had to reinvent itself. We have all missed the feeling of booking flight tickets or getting to airport to start our journey. I am sure this year taught us not only to appreciate more the moments together but also to enjoy simpler experiences in lesser-known travel destinations that are able to offer us the safety we all need these days.
Therefore, our TOP 3 LESSER-KNOWN HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS for 2021 are:
3. Tatra Mountains, Slovakia and Poland
The highest mountain range in the Carpathians, the Tatras form an extraordinary natural wall between Slovakia and Poland. The Tatras are becoming a popular hiking destination in Europe. So if you're planning to visit them, the best time to do so is from June 15 through September. Some trails will however remain open until October, depending on snowfall.

2. Lake Ohrid, Macedonia
Lake Ohrid is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the few in the world that is both a natural world heritage (the lake itself) and a cultural world heritage (the old town). Therefore it is the perfect place for any tourist to just sit back and relax while enjoying a local glass of Boza which is a Macedonian drink made from fermented corn and wheat. Good news are that it has a very low percentage of alcohol so ladies can enjoy it too! :)

1. Faroe Islands, Denmark
Located halfway between Norway and Iceland, the Faroe Islands are made of 18 rocky and vulcanic islands in the wild North Atlantic. There is no need to prove anymore that the Faroe Islands have one of the most stunning sceneries in the world. A green sea wherever you watch, crashing waterfalls and colorful little villages. Why you should visit the Faroe Islands? Well if the scenery did not convince you yet maibe the little thousands puffins will.

See you soon, friends :)
